infact wblinds is worse. it slows down the system even more.

the best method is to use only the uxtheme patch & use the msstlyle that you want to use.

Get VISTA INSPIRAT 2 from BricoPacks... its simply the best. If u want to speed up system more than normal xp, then dont install visual effects of VistaInspirat and then download Royale 1.5 by dobee... <-- this skin is based on windows classic theme and it improves system performance :) and still looks better than any xp theme available out ther :) very sleek :)

this is my current desktop pic. i am using the seven transformation pack & the uxtheme. some apps in the transformation pack dont work but some work fine in xp x64 without any problems.

My os is XP X64 professional SP1. (u can do the same with sp2)

1st install the uxtheme. here is the link.
Windows X's Live | UXTheme Multi-Patcher

2nd if you want to make your desktop like mine u can get the 7 transformation pack from here.
Windows X's Live | Seven Transformation Pack

if you want to use a diff theme then u can download custom mssstyles n apply them manually after installing the uxtheme.

you can transform your os but it'll make it slow because of resource usage which will increase for sure.
