Hi. is there any1 in maharashtra(not mumbai) using vodafone mobile connect for tethering please lemme know as there is lot of confusion. only wap is preactivated.

ALso let me know if any1 using vodafone on iphone to surf internet lemme know how especially maharashtra.

DOes the apn changer from unlockit.co.nz work?
 
guys good news.. vodafone has started vmc from 20nov onwards. so all ppl from maharashtra and goa enjoy.(charges 199 100mb data)

VMC has been on for eons, I have had it, if u have money to waste go for it cause IMO Rs199 for 100MB is insane

Docomo provides 100MB for Rs 98

Airtel gets even better, 100MB during day and 2GB @ night for Rs 89 / month

Aircel is the best, Rs 98/month unlimited GPRS
 
actually w8in for portability to hit.
right now my vodafone no is given out to hundreds of ppl and cant afford to change it right away atm.

docomo service here in pune sucks. frequent call drops, low reception and what not.dont know about aircel

i think airtel is the way to go with such good highway and all india coverage.
