voice recognition for subtitles software

Hi all,

I have some bunch of ramdom video files, for which you cant get subtitles over internet. Is there a voice recognition software or add on kind of stuff which can recognize voice and display as text along with video?

I never even thought about this... but use a lot that where this kind of software would be so amazingly convenient. Hope someone replies with a few suggestions

Well you can do text to speech, I doubt speech to text.

Wait. Dude do you have iPhone or android , ask SIRI to record a note, and then bring our phone next to tv

I wanted this facility for some specific videos for home usage... Nothing profitable

yeah same: would love it for basic videos that have hard-to-find subtitles, or don't have any to begin with.
