This is a HUGE joke.

The walkin last weekend at Pune was a huge mess.

People came in at 7 AM and were left hanging till 9 PM.

No one knew if there will be a technical test, technical interview, hr interview and if any, then where.

I was told people filled up the full bldg, including staircases, and there wasnt even any water to drink.

Utter joke I say.

There is difference b/w direct walkin and employee referred walkin

Last week event was direct walkin.

There is no MNC during this time calling ppl with min 2 years exp.

As you say, AFAIK it was scheduled interviews by referral/ via job agents. Also seems to have been handled by a 3rd party, not Accenture HR

There are many divisions in Any MNC ,I think you know it!

Recruiting is handled by separate entity in accenture

I have referred many ppl , but havent come across such a strange issues like you are pointing about Pune. Will have to check out from friends in Pune.

@Axeman: I can understand your plight however, please be adviced that Accenture PDC is a relatively newer establishment and is still gearing up for this kinda events. The process is mostly outsourced and its acknowledged that it was a shabby job. The powers that be are looking into it and trying to improve the things.

@vinay_0007: Ent id in PM please . And yes whatever Axeman is saying is true to the core. Was at the other side of the table and from our side as well the things weren't exactly rosy.

Friend of mine got selected for java at Accenture lastt week. 3.5 yrs exp. They are offering him 7 lacs. Thats a decent package
