At my FIL's home there is a 32" LCD TV which is currently hanged on wall with a "fixed" bracket. So the TV cannot be moved at all. Now the problem is that all the main ports of the TV at the back and totally inaccessible now. I guess the day it was attached, they just connected a RCA cable for Tata Sky and it hasn't moved till date.

Now we want to get the brackets changed to a flexible ones with which we can move the TV as needed and bring it in front so that ports are accessible. All other times (99% time) it will be back in sort of fixed position (like it is now).

The TV in question is a Toshiba Regza 32" (exact model# not known for now).

Where to buy the flexible brackets for this TV ? Approximate costs and who is going to install them ?

I think dealers like Samsung provides the brackets on request but mostly it will be fixed ones.

Is it really necessary to have moving brackets, I mean you can fit extra connections (keep the wires open at other end) and use it with any additional devices you need to connect. (I have 3 HDMI cable connected, currently only use 2, keeping 1 for future)

They don't really like those hanging wires especially the unused ones. So yes flexible is sort of needed. The TV has absolutely no connections on the sides else we don't even had to do all this.

its a one time activity, strain your neck, shoulders and hands, plug in the wires and tie them up at the back for future use..

It must be a slide on wall mount. Lift the TV out and plug in the wires one time as everyone else has suggested and slide it back into its mount.
