Its not a pre-order. Its like buying a game over steam.

You can DL the game from D2D and start playing rite away rather than wait for the game to release here in India
 
Wanted to ask a question; Is it "legal" to make a soft copy of a game that you have downloaded over Steam and D2D etc?

Its perfectly leagal to make backups of ur game from steam on dvd or external hard drives..

I skipped this one because of the DRM..I made a mistake of buying crysis warhead and i am not going to repeat it for sure..installation limits are a strict no no for me..Seems like left for dead is the only one i can buy for now since valve wont be using any other 3rd party DRM stuff.. u can get it thru steam or wait bcoz it wil be cheaper buying it in india..
