My Monitor has DVI-D connector and 8600 GT has DVI-I connector, what is the difference and will I have any problem connecting them?

DVI-I [Integrated] has both Digital and Analog signals. You should not have any problem. Just get the cable (single-link or dual link) that is DVI-D or DVI-I.

The Pin diagrams look like this.

Connect using any of the first four cables, you should be fine.

Dual-Link has a higher bandwidth capability. If you monitor and PC supports higher resolutions 2048xsomething @ high refresh rates, you will need a dual link cable. A simple DVI-D single link cable will suffice presently.

Sent a pm to katmandude for XFX GeForce 8600 GT.

@gannu_rox is the price including shipping.

He'll charge a very nominal rate fer shipping n duties..
anyways with KMD, one thing's sure..
U get the stuff n u're profited as well.. :)

Yes no connector, SMPS with 18A on 12v rail is reccommended, ATI 3XXX series card consumes less power in 2D mode, allmost 20W saving man. Honestly U dont need 8600GT with Zalman cooler, U aint OCer. Get 3650 with UVD, Dx10.1 etc, its proper multimedia card. :)
