A: No preference. Should have good service network in delhi

6. What is your intended use for this phone (internet, camera, multimedia, mails etc.)?
A: Camera, mails, YouTube and internet

A: New. Don’t mind buying online

I would prefer to buy by buying in minimum budget as I don't do gaming even around 15k

Rooting is not necessary for a basic call recorder. All you need is custom recovery.

I'd recommend a Samsung phone. The Samsung One UI is usually easy to operate with one hand. And it becomes a true one-hand usable phone with the One Hand Operations+ app. No hate, only love. Supports call recording. Timely OS updates. Far fewer ads (Hot Apps and Hot Games shortcut on the App screen and Lock screen Discover, which can be easily disabled.) You'll have to buy the charging adapter separately. They usually provide 2 Android Version OS updates for phones in the budget range. but they've started to for 4 OS updates too for some mid-rangers.

I'm using a Samsung F23. Decent camera. Great Display (NOT Amoled). A bit heavy, but it's okay. The side-mounted fingerprint reader is objectively trash. I accidentally touch it and trigger an "unknown fingerprint" prompt 80% of the time.

It's a bit old, preferably look for a newer Samsung phone.

Samsung would be the best bet for now. Stable software + hardware combo.

A34 is costlier but comes with Dimensity 1080. Would trust that over Exynos.
Also if you can wait for the next sale, S20 FE 5G may be available for 25k or lower. In the Independence day sale, it went down to as low as 23k with card offers.
