Want suggestions - Is this LCD worth it?

Hey Guys, wanted some suggestions. I know that in the 32 inches LCD TVs, Sony Bravia and SamSung Bordeaux are best VFM. But I am stuck with something else. LG 32LC2R. The reason for going to this model is one of my LG friends has got this corporate offer with a whopping 40% off and the cost comes to around 38-39k. So, is it worth it? A 32 inches LCD with all the features that model offers worth 39k?

Well Panasonic/Philips 32" are available already for 43-44k. Samsung and Sony are about 10-15k over that. The best option would be to goto a decent shop and compare LG vs. others for yourself and see what difference there is in the quality if any.

Also 40% off the MRP doesn't mean anything. The actual retail price is actually a lot less than the MRP. My guess would be that the real discount you are getting would be around 15-20%, which is not bad at all.. but nowhere near 40%.
