Audio Want to buy Headphones for 1K

Hi,
I need to buy headphones for my laptop mainly for watching movies and playing games without disturbing others in the house. I am not too much of an audiophile, so a decent one costing around 1k would do fine. It would be good if it has a microphone as well for an occasional video chat and voip call.

Thanks dexBG. Which one do u use? Any particular brand I should prefer? I can see philips, panasonic in this range. I used to have logitech on-ear ones. But they would become uncomfortable and sweaty over long periods. Should I prefer over-ear ones?
 
Philips .. I had that one in my school days .. (8-9 years ago .. worked superbly) but for normal VoIP you can get them pretty cheap as well. I much prefer the over-ear types as well for long duration.
