1) play a lot of awp maps
2) Reload often when there are less than 4 bullets in the clip

Perfect your mouse sensitivity first.
Practice the 'quick switch' technique the pros use.
Try and anticipate where your zoom xhair will appear on screen before you zoom so that you can aim even faster.
Try and learn dragging techniques, but I dont suggest that to beginners like you.

hehehe.....never...... It will take me the better part of a decade to master the sniper rifle
I hardly have time to play nowadays. ever since I decided that my 8hrs of sleep aq night was more important than CSS, I hardly play CSS
I still favour the M4A1 Carbine or the AK.

although i dont play css that well would like to tell u that never ever play the crappy maps like awp india or awpmap etc. they will only improve your sniping in that map. practice on regular maps. there is no method to snipe. every1 has their own style according to maps. u just need to practice.

In the initial stages sniping might be real hard, the fact that you have to drag can be painful and frustrating. I have seen you rifle and you cant drag or still havent got to that part....
If you really want to get into sniping, start initially and slowly, you know the right click left click mechanism and use that. Never get startled when you have a awp in hand and at close range a enemy comes in front of you, just zoom and move your AwP slowly and patiently. I remember when i went into sniping it was a slow a tedious process, i learnt by base camping. Ask any of my clan guys and i base camped like a whore but it gave me ease to aim nice and slow and get the rythm going...
Start with camping first, people will hate you but camp first at some corner and start aiming and shooting. This is the stage when you are still and you know a enemy is going to come from that point, just shoot when he comes in front of you. You will miss a lot of times but eventually you will get used to "clicking" at the right time and kill someone...
Secondly start moving a little, very little but still camping. Camp in B tunnel and scope to B base or B tunnel repective of which team you are in, ct or t... . But later start going mobile and rushing areas and be prepared to zoom and shoot at enemies running away from you are towards you. Dragging will take much time to learn but once you get a hang of it, you will be a AwP slut....
Always remember to have good sound sense, it will help you to be prepared and zoom in one of particulay posi from which you expect the enemy to come from... Source doesnt have quick zoom or quick zoom doesnt hit on exact same spot you intended it to shoot so you cant rush, sound is a players best friend and make use of it......
Camp first, get used to shooting first at proper time, then go moving little to get a hang of some movement with AwP and then slow practise drag... Remember to get a perfect sensi and also sometimes mess with zoom_sensitivity_ratio to adjust your drags... it takes time, it took me some 6 months to get used to AwP and "only" 6 months of continuos sniping to make it good enough.....

Start off with the Bullpup etc. ... then move on to the real sniping tools ..
Also .. quick switch is really the things .. so practice it a lot ...

lol doesnt mean u dont aim at target and u get a kill
sniper is still lil difficult for me to handle, i choose only from m4a1, para and p90 (love these weapons)
