Want to learn to drive

Are driving schools good enough? I've heard that they are not so good and it just depends on the guy who teaches you if he is enthu and wants to teach you properly.

Do you know any other source of learning to drive in Mumbai (Mahim area)? I dont own a car but want to learn to drive well.

^^ Maybe you dont quite get what I was trying to ask. Even though I drive the car, if the one who teaches is reluctant to teach and is just looking at it as 2 hours of rest in the car, its not worth it. I'd rather pay someone who is doing such freelancing. I have heard about a lot of people who do this type of learning.

and if you are a BIKER: stay away from games like Road-Rash
These games give bad habit to good drivers.
 
Driving schools are good enough. U can get to learn the basics. Ah u will need to practise later but at least the driving school makes sure that u get the license.

Also they teach u on normal roads with normal traffic, so u dont worry about the instructor, coz if he does not pay attention then u can bang the car ;). Just kidding.

Dont worry go join a good school where they have latest cars, and learn on a car which u plan to drive later.
 
I just learned driving a few days back.

From my experience i can say that the driving schools teach you the basics of driving. Then, it's up to you.

It all depends on real-world practice. Once you start driving on a real road, you will learn...

Tip: Drive slow when you are learning...
