Wanted Geforce 6600 GT

Hey guys almost sold my Radeon 9600 to Kumar from TE and so now looking for new a Geforce 6600 GT. My budget is about 10k.

What are the other brands besides BIG and XFX available which are good.

P.S Im from Mumbai
 
both cards sold already. & they were pciexpress.

u can buy the xfx agp. i am using it since feb. working fine.

ive also heard the big cards are good in this forum. 2-3 guys have it i guess.
 
good card with flimsy HSF......
I would prefer BIG as they seem to be same make to that of BFG cards. Also see if you get any nice deal on BIG or XFX.
My friend got nice deal on agp6600GT from XFX for Rs.9500.
 
I have the BIG AGP..personally no complaints at all...OC'd it like mad (last i remember...took it 610/1.20) ...throwing a couple of fans below it will keep it cool..so no probs there. It has copper heatsinks and a blue LED fan.

Got it from BBC,chennai for 9.5k incl of shipping.

3 yrs warranty.
Only 1 bundled game (Nascar thunder 2004)
 
Thx for the replies guys, I guess the BIG 6600 Gt seems to be everyones favourite. I guess ill go for that one. :)

Just one last qt, how much is a Geforce 6800 ?
 
A Gainward one is for around 14K. Anish had got it for that price some time back. But if you are paying 14K for that, you may as well buy the Leadtek 6800GT for 17K.

But otherwise, there is not much difference between 6800 and 6600GT. The extra pipes make a big difference only in 3dmark and other synthetics benchies.

He also quoted me a Powercolor Radeon 9800 pro (128 bit) for 11k !! :rofl: Should I go for that ?

Go to Big Byte itself, in the lane next to Cassette World. 11K for a 128bit 9800Pro? Hell NO! I'll sell you my 256bit 9800Pro for that price if you want :eek:hyeah:

The Gainward 6600GT GS GLH aint that bad either, I think its available for 9k at Mediatech.

And its OC'ed to 540/1150 out of the box. BTW I feel Gainward cooling is awesome, talking about my expereince, it really cools well...
