A woman at a Gas nightclub (Mumbai) on Saturday night
was taken by 5 men,Who according to hospital and
police reports, gang raped her before

Dumping her at Bandstand Mumbai. Unable to remember
the events of the evening, tests later confirmed the
repeat rapes along with traces of rohypnol in her
blood.

Rohypnol, date rape drug is an essentially a small
sterilization pill.

The drug is now being used by rapists at parties to
rape AND sterilize their victims. All they have to do
is drop it into the girl's drink. The girl can't
remember a thing the next morning, of all that had
Taken place the night before. Rohypnol, which
dissolves in drinks just as easily, is such that the
victim doesn't conceive from the rape and the rapist
needn't worry about having a paternity test
identifying him months later.

The Drug's affects ARE NOT TEMPORARY - they are
PERMANENT. Any female that takes it WILL NEVER BE
ABLE TO CONCEIVE. The weasels can get this drug from
anyone who is in the vet school or any university.
it's that easy, and Rohypnol is about to break out big

on campuses everywhere.

Believe it or not, there are even sites on the
Internet telling people how to use it. Please forward
this to everyone you know, especially girls.

Girls, be careful when you're out and don't leave your
drink unattended.

(added - Buy your own drinks, ensure bottles or cans

received are Unopened or sealed; don't even taste
someone else's drink)

There was already been a report in Singapore of girls
drink been Spiked by Rohypnol.
For guys - Pls inform all your female friends and
relatives.

There are at least 2 more drugs (apart from Rohypnol):
· GHB (gamma hydroxybutyric acid)
· Ketamine (ketamine hydrochloride)

And rumour has it that Progesterex (used by vets to sterilize horses etc) is used with Rohypnol. (What a Sick mind - the person should burn in hell!!)

Infact Alcohol also can be added to the list since :
When a person is drinking alcohol:-
·It's harder to think clearly and evaluate a potentially dangerous situation.
·It's harder to resist sexual or physical assault.
·Drinking too much alcohol can also cause black-outs and memory loss

I think one should never leave one's glass unattended even for a min!! .. it's that easy...

I knew about the drug, but not that the woman is unable

to conceive afterwards. If that's true, that's truly sad &

damaging. For every normal human being to have somebody

after you, a child is a human emotion as well to see him grow up.

I just hope the last part isn't true otherwise you'll see many

rapists using the drug & then there would be many cases of suicide

by women :'(

thts very sad i too hope the drugs effect part isnt true :( its time girls learn some defense skills in order to protect themselves from pervs
i feel sad for tht woman, i also hope tht rapists are ignorant to tht drug.

Although I wanna agree with Systemic but pervs are technical minded.

[OT] For e.g. if you look at the pRon industry they had always been at the forefront of every imaging technology. I remember in my teens when BBS were the rage in the somewhat rich people. I must've been around 12-14 & with a friend had gone to a BBS guy to get some pRon & we got the images in those 5 1/4th floppies . The images at tht time (high quality jpegs & small animations gif's) were enough for us. Then when CD's came out these guys were again at the forefront in trying out. I remember looking/buying Pron CD's much before regular CD's were in the mkt. The same has been replicated in the DVD mkt. If you also look at the tools these guys use they're more skinning tools rather than anything else. I don't consider myself a Pron guy but do believe tht they've a good instict to pick out the winners in technology rather than losers. Remember Zip disks, Jaz disks there wasn't even one title which came on either [/OT]

Of course although tht industry is made on exploitation on a much larger scale but till there are consumers there would be buyers

I dont think the Drug has any long term effects. The Woman, is able to concieve, later on.

I read up, and couldnt find, and info. on Women, not being able to Concieve, after taking rohypnol. Its legal in a few countries, where its used as a sedative. So, i doubt, any1 would buy it, if it was true that women are no longer able to concieve.

ive heard of one more drug - its supposedly used by psychiatrist to relax the mind, and make the patient obey their instructions. i dont remember the name though....

people who use this are social animals!! should be burnt to death :@

GHB said:
What are the street names/slang terms for GHB ?
G, Georgia Home Boy, Grievous Bodily Harm, Liquid Ecstasy.
What is GHB ?
GHB is predominantly a central nervous system depressant.
What does it look like?
GHB can be produced in clear liquid, white powder, tablet, and capsule forms. It is colorless and odorless. GHB has a salty taste; however it is often diluted in liquids and virtually undetectable.GHB is often manufactured in homes with recipes and kits found and purchased on the Internet.
How is it used?
In powder form, measuring a dose is fairly straightforward. In liquid form, GHB comes in a wide variety of concentrations with a single dose ranging from a few drops to a full glass.
What are its short-term effects?
At lower doses, GHB can relieve anxiety and produce relaxation.Combining use with other drugs such as alcohol can result in nausea and difficulty breathing.GHB may also produce withdrawal effects, including insomnia, anxiety, tremors, and sweating.
What are its long-term effects?
As the dose increases, the sedative effects may result in sleep and eventual coma or death.GHB has reportedly been used in cases of date rape. Because GHB is odorless and tasteless, it can be slipped into someone's drink without detection.

What are the street names/slang terms for Ketamine ?
Cat Valium, K, Special-K, Vitamin K.
What is Ketamine ?
Ketamine is a dissociative anesthetic developed in 1963 to replace PCP and currently used in human anesthesia and veterinary medicine. Much of the ketamine sold on the street has been diverted from veterinarians' offices. Ketamine's chemical structure and mechanism of action are similar to those of PCP.
What does it look like?
Although it is manufactured as an injectable liquid, in illicit use ketamine is generally evaporated to form a powder.
How is it used?
Snorted or swallowed.

Ketamine is odorless and tasteless, so it can be added to beverages without being detected, and it induces amnesia. Because of these properties, the drug is sometimes given to unsuspecting victims and used in the commission of sexual assaults referred to as "drug rape."
What are its short-term effects?
Ketamine can cause dream-like states and hallucinations. Users report sensations ranging from a pleasant feeling of floating to being separated from their bodies. Some ketamine experiences involve a terrifying feeling of almost complete sensory detachment that is likened to a near-death experience. These experiences, similar to a "bad trip" on LSD, are called the "K-hole." Low-dose intoxication from ketamine results in impaired attention, learning ability, and memory .In high doses, ketamine can cause delirium, amnesia, impaired motor function, high blood pressure, depression, and potentially fatal respiratory problems.
What are its long-term effects?

What are the street names/slang terms for Rohypnol ?
Date rape drug, La roche, R2, Rib, Roach, Roofenol, Roofies, Rope, Rophies, Ruffies, The forget pill.
What is Rohypnol ?
Rohypnol is the brand name for a drug called Flunitrazepam, which is a powerful sedative that depresses the central nervous system. Rohypnol is not legally available for prescription in the United States, but is legal in 60 countries worldwide for treatment of insomnia.
What does it look like?
A small white tablet with no taste or odor when dissolved in a drink.
How is it used?
Rohypnol is swallowed as a pill, dissolved in a drink, or snorted.Roofies are frequently used in combination with alcohol and other drugs. They are sometimes taken to enhance a heroin high, or to mellow or ease the experience of coming down from a cocaine or crack high. Used with alcohol, roofies produce disinhibition and amnesia.
What are its short-term effects?
The drug creates a sleepy, relaxed, and drunk feeling that lasts 2 to 8 hours. Other effects may include blackouts, with a compete loss of memory, dizziness and disorientation, nausea, difficulty with motor movements and speaking.
What are its long-term effects?
Rohypnol can produce physical and psychological dependence.

i compiled this info for your info so that every one can get right information. as rohypnol is a trade name you can get it.

no where in drug database it is mentioned that rohypnol is doing sterility so that information is baseless. what bundits may have used is a strong high dose oral contraceptive which gives emergency contraception so it prevents gestation as an effect of rape.

still in my knowledge there is not any drug in popular drug market that can permanently sterilise a woman with a single dose. if it is ever found it may still be confined to laboratory because then hitler like leaders would not need genocide rather they will bulk manufacture this drugs and can render whole civilization wiped from earth. :(

hmm a mail has been doing rounds for quite some years now..... includes Rohypnol... hmm i think i read abt it and some others drugs recently.. cant seeem to remember.. but i think it was a newspaper(TOI's supplements)... or some mag......

great info doc!!!!

btw people talk abt blue pills and red pills and some other coloured pills... ;).... which is what in such a case???

Abuse Potential

Drug-facilitated Sexual Assault

Flunitrazepam is known to induce anterograde amnesia in sufficient doses; individuals are unable to remember certain events that they experienced while under the influence of the drug. This effect is particularly dangerous when flunitrazepam is used to aid in the commission of sexual assault; victims may not be able to clearly recall the assault, the assailant, or the events surrounding the assault.

It is difficult to estimate just how many flunitrazepam-facilitated rapes have occurred in the United States. Very often, biological samples are taken from the victim at a time when the effects of the drug have already passed and only residual amounts remain in the body fluids. These residual amounts are difficult, and sometimes impossible, to detect using standard screening assays available in the United States. If flunitrazepam exposure is to be detected at all, urine samples need to be collected within 72 hours and subjected to sensitive analytical tests. The problem is compounded by the onset of amnesia after ingestion of the drug, which causes the victim to be uncertain about the facts surrounding the rape. This uncertainty may lead to critical delays or even reluctance to report the rape and provide appropriate biological samples for testing. If a person suspects that he or she is the victim of a flunitrazepam-facilitated rape, he or she should get laboratory testing for flunitrazepam as soon as possible.

It must be noted that an inability to remember events, including sexual encounters, is not conclusive evidence of having consumed a drugged drink: Drunkenness itself causes blackouts, sleepiness, and a reduction in inhibitions. Only a timely screening for flunitrazepam can demonstrate its use.

Link between opiate abuse and theft

In the United Kingdom, the use of flunitrazepam and other "date rape" drugs has been connected to stealing from sedated victims. One expert quoted in a British tabloid estimated that up to 2,000 individuals are robbed each year after being spiked with powerful sedatives [1], making drug-assisted robbery a more common problem than drug-assisted rape.

Criminals sometimes use flunitrazepam before committing robbery as it has a calming and anti-emotive effect. This allows the criminal to perform the robbery without becoming anxious. Flunitrazepam is also known to induce anterograde amnesia making police interrogations more difficult.[4][5][6]

In a notable flunitrazepam related case, Selina Hakki was found guilty in December 2004 of using flunitrazepam to drug wealthy men and rob them of their clothes and accessories in the UK.

The link between opiate abuse and crimes against property may not be totally valid according to the findings of research studies. There is no doubt that the high cost of street opiates is a major factor in the criminal careers of many addicts. However, researches have reviewed much of the American literature and noted that among the majority of street users who are involved in crime, their criminal careers were well established prior to the onset of drug use.[2]

Recreational drug

Although flunitrazepam has become widely known in USA for its use as a date-rape drug, it is used more frequently as a recreational drug. It is used by high school and college students, rave party attendees, and heroin and cocaine users (who call a dose of flunitrazepam a "roofie") for recreational purposes, including:

* To produce profound intoxication (Kurt Cobain overdosed on a mixture of flunitrazepam and champagne several weeks before his death)
* To boost the high produced by heroin, or ease the anxiety and/or sleeplessness of withdrawal
* To counteract the side effects of stimulants (e.g. insomnia, paranoia, jitteriness)
* To "soften" the so-called "crash" which follows heavy usage of stimulants, such as cocaine or methamphetamine
* To improve sex drive and appetite.

Flunitrazepam is usually consumed orally, and is often combined with alcohol. It is also occasionally insufflated (i.e. tablets are crushed into powder and snorted). In some European countries, there was an alcohol solution of flunitrazepam (Darkene), abused by injection, with very strong effects.
[edit]

Side effects

Flunitrazepam is considered to be one of the most addictive of the benzodiazepines, along with clonazepam, midazolam, temazepam, lorazepam and alprazolam. Its use causes several notable side effects, including:

* Drowsiness
* Loss of motor control
o Dizziness
o Lack of coordination
* Slurred speech
* Confusion
* Gastrointestinal disturbances, lasting 12 or more hours.
* Respiratory depression in higher doses

Long-term use of flunitrazepam can result in psychological and physical dependence and the appearance of withdrawal symptoms when the drug is discontinued. Flunitrazepam impairs cognitive and psychomotor functions, affecting reaction time and driving skill. The use of this drug in combination with alcohol potentiates these side effects, and can lead to toxicity.

To the original poster: Mind sharing the source. My guess would be Punjab Kesri. Of course there are date rape drugs around for sick minds to use and abuse and of course its noble to spread the knowledge but lets keep facts away from fantasies and lets do a Google before geting excited and posting every mail forward ... eh?

Rohypnol can be ingested orally, snorted, or injected. It is often combined with alcohol or used as a remedy for the depression that follows a stimulant high. The effects of Rohypnol begin within 15 to 20 minutes of administration and, depending on the amount ingested, may persist for more than 12 hours. The drug’s metabolic properties are detectable in urine for up to 72 hours after ingestion.

Under Rohypnol, individuals may experience a slowing of psychomotor performance, muscle relaxation, decreased blood pressure, sleepiness, and/or amnesia. Some of the adverse side effects associated with the drug’s use are drowsiness, headaches, memory impairment, dizziness, nightmares, confusion, and tremors. Although classified as a depressant, Rohypnol can induce aggression and/or excitability.
