PC Peripherals Warranty advice

Guys I have a few questions regarding warranties of two products I have.

1. My Acer monitor 1080p 165 hz has developed horizontal lines on the upper part of the screen. I have a 8-9 months of warranty left. Will this be covered by the warranty?

2. I have a hyperx core stinger headphone. The mic stopped working after a few months. Also the earpad came off a few days back. I have 5 months warranty left. Which of the damages will be covered by the warranty?

3. Portronics hydra 10 keyboard red keys: I connected my desktop to the tv since my monitor is having those lines. Everything was fine until I disconnected the pc from the tv and connected it back to the monitor again. Now some of the keys are not working properly or stopped working at all(O, I, spacebar, etc). It is still under warranty. Will it be covered?

Much thanks and gratitude.

Hey,
  1. Acer Monitor (Horizontal Lines): This should be covered under warranty, as it seems like a hardware defect. Contact Acer support with details, and they should help with a repair or replacement.
  2. HyperX Core Stinger Headphone (Mic & Earpad):
    • Mic not working: Likely a hardware issue, so it should be covered under warranty.
    • Earpad coming off: If it’s due to a defect, it should also be covered. If it’s damage from misuse, it might not be.
  3. Portronics Hydra 10 Keyboard (Key Issues): If the malfunction is due to a hardware defect and not misuse, it should be covered by warranty. Contact support with the details.
You can contact the customer care support of each of these companies, and they might send a technician or ask for the product to be brought in for service. They will examine it to determine if it's a hardware defect, and you can make your case based on that.

Make sure to provide proof of purchase and describe the issues clearly when reaching out to support!

I’ve personally RMAed my Acer monitor. The display started flickering after 10-15 minutes of powering on.

Called Acer support, they redirected me to the nearest service centre. They asked me to record the error while PC's in BIOS. Shared a video of that, along with my invoice.

Took more than 2 weeks for them to send a replacement, but they didn’t have my 24” in stock, so they replaced it with a 27” instead.

I don't see why all of those items won't be covered in warranty. They all look like product defects to me. As for the headset's earpad if you can try to put it back on, Use the help of a credit card (or something similar) to push it back in before you send it for RMA.
