Laptops Warranty extention on Dell laptop

Hi,

I purchased Dell Inspiron 15R in US in nov 2011. It comes with 1 year international warranty, so I am covered till nov 2012 even in India.

Now I would like to extends its warranty here in India. Need advise should I go for hardware or accidental coverage? Are there any other types of warranty too?

Given that laptop is less than 90 days old, what should be the best rate I can negotiate for hardware/ accidental coverage?

Wanted an opinion of some one who has extened dell warranty or has any idea about it.

Can someone please advise. I am getting additional 2 years complete (accidental) policy for Rs. 6350 and 1 year for Rs. 3700.

Hardware insurance for 2 years is Rs. 5100 and one year is Rs. 2750.

Please advise if it is worth going for 2 year additional accidental policy. ( I currently have limited 1 yr hardware warranty upto nov 2012).. I have to finalize it by this Saturday...

Go for 2 years complete cover(accidental protection), its worth the price.

Hardware insurance = Accidental protection warranty = Dell complete cover.

Thanks you all for your opinion...is there any specific points I should check/ re-confirm while taking complete cover in terms of coverage , support days (ie. if it is 5 days or 7 days support as my existing pre-bundled NBD support is 7 days a week ) etc. Any add-on I can ask him to include?

( my uncle purchased this system for me in US in Nov 2011 and i have trafered the tag to india under my name)

Go with complete cover only!! The days shouldnt matter much, the days or timings hold good with Commercial systems and not consumers

A bit offtopic but is the complete cover charges reduced ?

Because 2 year complete cover in 6350 is a steal IMHO ....
