PC Peripherals Wat does This error mean ?

Been Getting this Error when Play some Music Or movie Files ... Looks as though some Problem Related to the Sound card.Made sure tha Card has inserted into slot the Properly,Still getting error ,Tried Different slots Same Error :huh:
its a Creative Sound Blaster 4.1 Special Asian Edition card

Check Up services mate ... Windows Audio Service is Disabled.if so,ur sound card wont be Detected Properly.that must be the Case,Some Start Up Manager must have disabled it

Did the card get detected? Did you install the drivers on CD?

IRQ conflict i think.

control panel > system > hardware tab > device manager button.

view Menu > Resources by type and select IRQ.

you may have an address conflict and you will be able to tell if the same. Guess updating driver might help. check it up. Uninstall and install audio drivers.

Yes a s others have suggested,it looks like a conflict.Do one thing,

remove the drivers using driver cleaner and reinstall them.

if there are other PCI devices (such as LAN/Modem etc.) reinstall their drivers too.

Lastly,just to be sure,reinstall DX9.C

u hit the Nail on the Head Mate :rofl: this wat had Exactly had Happened,Service was Disabled.Restarted the service From:

Control Panel>Performance & Maintainence>Administrative Tools>Services
