also guys wanted to let yall know that ESWC is happening in India in May. the qualifiers are in many cities. ill post the schedule in another topic later.

Pretty interesting though.

WCG SEC is Source. But WCG 2006 is 1.6. Hmm..
 
sec is just a tp promotional event cause wcg is happening 1st time in europe. no good clans will be there so source is there for tp.

SEC has been going on in Europe for 4 years now.

WCG has been in Europe since i dunno when..
 
i have never seen this even happen before or read about it. i.e the sec. anyways its euro only so doesnt matter to the rest of the world.

& as far as i know i dont think sec is happening for a long time. it might have just happened once before.
 
only if i knew yesterday that source would be dumped and good ol cs be back, wouldnt have wasted 1k on the damn source. :@ ...OT: I found the movement of the players in CS:Source hilarious..hop..hop..hop type :bleh:

being a source loyalist i agree that source is a buggy game , but one the other hand 1.6 is a stagnant game , wen i once played 1.6 for timepass wen i came 2 india for christmas i felt as if the models were tom and jerry , but still maybe it has a better game play , its something between wats better and wats new , and both are equally important , 1.6 "gods" have been playing the game for YEARS and wont shift 2 a differnt game , on the other hand some ppl will grab source as an oportunity
i feel wcg made a right choice but by next year valve will remove the bugs and the source community willl develop as well

if source was itna tp teams like 3d wudnt play it !
mind u if some1 can shoot heads in source he can do it in 1.6 as well , and then ofcourse game sense comes in the way which is same whether source or 1.6 , its a personal preference !

hopefuly valve will come up wid a game 2 satisfy both communities !

actually, its kind of amusing and nice that they made it 1.6....... ah well. the fps will rock at atleast! 400 fps stable!
 
well virus dont want to argue with u again. wcg in europe is worse than it is in india regarding cs. u can read what i wrote about it on vstreet & also what was told to me by the css players of uk who had come last year,

ya & virus u are right. game sense is same in both. so i guess ur pro clan should come to the present & take part in cs 1.6 cause we would surely have taken part in wcg 2006 even if it was css :-)

& prolly i hadnt heard about sec cause its euro only which i really dont care about cause i dont follow international scene in any game including cs1.6

& 3D qualified from wcg usa last year playing cs 1.6 & won wcg finals in singapore playing source. so they play both games.

anyways no point arguing about all this since this is a thread for a diff reason
 
@ goldenfrag- can u give me a link wcg sec 2003 or 2004. i cant find anything about this on google. only found wcg sec 2005 & wcg sec 2006 that will happen this year.
 
ye stormblast , i realise we r arguing for no reason , i was actually considering shifting to 1.6 for this wcg coz at the end of the day its counter strike innit :P , we might not win but atleast team work might improve , but unforetunately im in uk where source tournaments are becoming more frequent than 1.6 mate , so im thinking abt it , tm i think are going to wcg though , lets see ! in 2 mnths time any1 can easily get skill on another game !

yea europe gaming scene isnt that good , the team that won in uk last year isnt the best team in england nor is it in the top 5 or even top 10 right now , prob wid europe is that the whole background of gaming is online and not lan unlike india and usa , and sg as well ,

thats y im going usa after a year :E

good to know that yall are playing 1.6. heh. may as well make the best of it till the game is there. & i am sure some of ur teammates already play the game including goldenfrag who plays it whole day even though he denies it.

haha , he plays 1.6 frm 12 noon to 6 pm then source frm 6 pm to midnight , sleep eat 1.6 and css ROFL !!!

newayz we playing jus so that our team work improves , not for the aim of winning , we still consider ourself css clan ! lets see how it goes *yawn*

Only since 4 Days.. And b4 that only for Tourneys.. :)...

Anyways, i dont care whether its 1.6 or Source, until its told to us in Advance.
