WD Black 1 TB has warranty of only 2 years ?

But funny, flipkart shows 5 year warranty

My drive is FAEX, but when I checked warranty on WD's website, it is showing 2 years.

Snap deal shows 2 yr warranty. Flipkart shows 5 yr.

If i am not mistaken WD offers 5 years of Velociraptors and Blacks / 3 years for RED NAS Hdd`s and for all others 2 years. External hard drive`s still get 3 years.

Created a Case on WD's website. Now I have to check it often for the reply.

Tell the seller Wd site says 5 yr warranty on drive, but on verification this drive shows only 2 years

Why haven't you contacted the HDD seller ? Wd may ./ may not be helpful.
contact the seller, tell him as per WD policy it should be 5 yr warranty. But the drive purchased from them is showing 2 years only.

Got call from WD. The system is updated with 5 year warranty and I'll see that in 2-3 days.
WD is also trying to track down the source of the problem.
