Storage Solutions WD Caviar Black under 4.5k ?

hello guys,i want to get a new HDD(internal+SATA2) and my budget is only 4.5k max.

i know i can get a Green 1tb for this price but i do need the speed of Black.

so i was wondering what capacity of WD Black can i get for 4.5 k? and pls do suggest me some good dealers too(except for KMD and Ebay/Amazon)

^^For that price you can get a lesser sized WD Black (eg:640GB) for around 3.5k i think. A 1TB WD Black is beyond your budget atm.

WD black 1tb is only 4.9?
pls do tell me any dealers selling at that price,i don't want a green because i need this HDD for Video Editing,Compositing ,Animation etc.

Udit if possible please start a GO, at that price damn many would be interested and maybe some1 else from calcutta can handle the actual physical aspect of the GO??
 
it is 4.9k in Kolkata but my dealer gets WD Black 1TB from outside too

I can't do GO's but I'll ask my dealer
 
just called up prime at mumbai..

they quoted 4.35ks for 1 tb green

and 6ks for 1 tb black

according to the techreport review green is on par wid the 7200.12 wid better access speeds and more quiter and cooler..

so me thinks green is not all tht slow..at 4.3ks its great vfm
 
u wont get WD black for 4.9 any where.
it retails 100$ mark in US
with import tax and all it will be costly.

i had a quote of 5.6 K at bangalore , but he didnt had stock
