Has anyone tried this external HDD/NAS from WD? It seems to be available on primeabgb for around 7k, which should be worth it if it really has the capabilities mentioned here -

Basically, someone was able to hack it to use it as a torrent client and a lot more

Yes it is capable but one need to have a working basic knowledge with basic scripting/unix commands. And 2nd thing it wont be much user friendly and last thing if its bricked u loose ur warranty

If its bricked , u will lose your warranty for sure but maybe u can open the case and use the sata/ide inside
