This is my first thread here at the TechEnclave forum. So please excuse me for any mistakes.

I am a total n00b when it comes to Media Players for HT.
I wanted to buy a Media Player within a range of Rs. 8k to 13k (incl. of HDD ~ 1TB)
Recently NDTV reviewed the new WD live HUB. Its supposedly priced at Rs. 8.7k - 9k and comes with a 1 TB HDD inbuilt!! Spec wise, i compared it with the Xtreamer and found them to be almost at par as far as formats were concerned.

But i've seen lesser people on TE use WD against media players like Xtreamer (which was my first choice before i stumbled across WDTV HUB)

So now i am confused which one to select from a dozen options on the basis of following points:

-Format support (majorly HD .mkv files)
-Good UI
-NO requirement for torrent support
-*IMPORTANT* After Sales Service (had a bad experience with transcend previously)
-Smooth playback quality
-support for Android and iPhone remote
-Wifi not important (as i already have a provision for Ethernet wiring)

Could anyone also advise me whether WD HUB is available in India (launch v/s availability :P). If so, where could i pick one up in Mumbai if i wanted to?

One more question pops up in my mind. i have this Samsung LED tv which plays videos from its USB media at 100Hz (true motion thing) but when i hook up my laptop to it via a HDMI connection, videos play at 60Hz. So now if a hook up a Media Player (WD/Xtr) will it play at 100Hz or 60Hz?
