I am waiting for the first batch of news articles now. When can we expect to see them?

I have a flight to catch, so I can submit my entry only by today evening. You think you guys can wait that long? Also, in case you guys do wait, where do I submit my entries? In the Draft section or do I PM them to the mods?

Have exams this week. So I might not be able to do much. Even otherwise working on my English and honing what little skills I have, is going to be quite an effort. Which is why I am waiting for the first few articles to come up to see what is expected or are your expectations of a new article worthy of gracing the face of TE.

I will surely submit at least one article by the end of the month considering there is no deadline.

Thanks guys for showing interest. Have replied to everyone a while back. Just wanted you all to know that the requirements have changed and we have not finalized anyone yet. So do send me a PM if you are interested and I will let you know the changed requirements. You can then decide whether you are still interested.

so if i am not mistaking the new rules are

1)compulsory 10 articles a month

2)no word limit, lower or upper

my question is the 300x220 pic to be used, does it have to be shot by the writer or can it be used if it has a CC license ??

I am in. This is a very healthy step from Techenclave and it helps to grow the community in the right direction

I was away for a few days hence no reply to anyone of you. We have recieved enough nominations and will most likely finalize from the ones we have recieved till today. Give us time till tomorrow night to sort things out.

Just wanted to update all of you that we have chosen a few authors. You will see them in action on the portal soon enough. For those who did not get a confirmation, we are trying to work something out for you too. So please wait a while.

As for others who are interested in writing news articles with no frequency committment they are still free to approach me. We will not be able to pay them but if their skills can benefit the community then why not.
