I'm building a website for this thing at school and was looking at a good deal my budget being 1k per year(including . com domain).

Looking for about 5-7GB of bandwith per month and about 300-500 mb of storage but the problem being I'd like an over the counter deal or if possible direct cash no credit cards/ paypal transfers the only Indian solution I could find was outpowerhosting.com but that guy did not respond to my call so little skeptical about purchasing from him so any advice from you'll.

Thanks for the list. These are quite expensive compared to outpowerhosting I believe you host your blogs on whost.in for 1500 bucks anually they are without a domain so if I would want a domain then I would have to spend about Rs. 500 Extra. That seems to be above the budget any other ideas ?
 
^^ Outpowerhosting is reliable.. Contact Faizal Khan directly through his website, and I'm sure you;ll get a reply within a day.. I've been using his hosting services for almost a year and a half without any problems..

My site is hosted outpowerhosting he might me busy give call back....
Very nice guy to deal,Fast i got my web site done in day....
 
Thanks to everyone....Will be getting back to outpowerhosting since there plans will suit me the best.

I will also contact live chat at whost.in and see what deals they offer me.
