Website hosting for an absolute amateur.

Ok. So I bought a domain and I want to create a website that people can open up. Ideally I would like it to be as much drag and drop as possible and as cheap as possible (I dont anticipate a lot of traffic). The website just needs to have a presence (as in, I am not selling anything on it or allowing users to sign up for something), so something very basic. Like 3-4 pages and thats it. Think of it more like a billboard.

What would you guys recommend?

I would ideally like to use a provider that has some themes pre built that I can edit and then just connect to my domain. Looked at squarespace and its hella expensive. Would the cheapest plan here suffice and include everthing? https://www.hostinger.com/in#pricing

What other decent alternatives do I have? Would prefer to not pay more than 300 Rs per month.

If you have a homelab, you can self host the website. A static HTML/PHP website without any database would be fastest without any practical load on your server.
Get help from chatgpt and make your html files yourself.

If you have this small a requirement then it will be better for you to host a static website on GCS bucket for a few rupees a month instead of taking a full fledged website hosting plan ?

Man, telling you, life was much easier in early 2000s when we could just use MS Frontpage to create few html pages and upload those to FTP of your domain. And then everything else happened (can't even imagine what all happened, lol). I fully agree with you.
