please help... to guide me guys.

Well, From your question it seems that you are a complete noob, Warlock. You dont know what you are talking...

"As i have some knowledge in "aftereffect" , "photoshop" , "Premier". But this all software are used in High quality Video editing. Does Editor use these software for edit recorded video's or any other"

If you are doing business... The client wants an edited video, what software you use to edit the video does not matter. Also Photoshop is for Photo editing, Premier is for Non linear Video Editing and After Effects is used for Compositing. If you have SOME knowledge then doing business is difficult. You need to have a complete command over these softwares and have a proper workflow in place.

Regarding the FX... you should have gone to the Photofair in Delhi.. there were tonnes of people selling them. Anyways, If you in Delhi check out Chandni Chowk.. and ask for what you require.. I am sure you ll find a place where to get them.

Karizma is an Album type not a photo editing software.

Besides these.. for a business to be successful you need to have clients... do you have them.. ? You need to show them your work.. do yo have it?? You need to charge the money from clients..do you have a pricing strategy?? Any website to showcase your work.. If answer to any of the above questions is NO then.. forget about getting successful in business... Typically any business takes huge abounts of time to be successful.. say 2+ years... its not a 1 month or 2 months job.

Get real and ask your dad to get real.. I hope I was not harsh in my words ... Think a little bit, plan it out and work hard... you'll learn ... and then you ll be successfull.

BrokenArrow welcome to TE. Now with your very first post, you could have been more gentle and courteous.

While you have stated some facts -about what each of these apps do, and very blunt about - what setting up a business really means!

I do not think that warlock911 needs to be disheartened. We need to guide him on taking it step-by-step and having tonnes of patience.

First and formost -
My dad gave me deadline for business. I have short time to show off my work as well as tobe successful
Now this kind of an equation is unreal & will lead to frustration for both of you.

Rather this is what you could do.

STEP 1
Find some friends who are already into the business - ask if they are willing to take you as an apprentice/trainer and assist them in their photo/video editing work - You will get first hand knowledge and an hands-on experience of actual work. TIME: 6 months - 1 year
Note: Make copies of your best jobs; edit a show-reel of your work which can then be shown to prospective clients.

STEP 2
Deepen your knowledge of all the softwares that you would actually use? Remember, once you start getting work, the turn-around time is limitted (deliveries need to be quick & prompt) TIME: Combined with the above.
Note: Study video's/portfolio's from well established persons (available from around the world)

STEP 3
Investing and Setting up your own Home-Studio.
- A PC-System that is fast and efficient with plenty of storage space.
- Peripherals - Having your own Video Camera/ DSLR etc

There are tremendous business opportunities in the field that you wish to pursue. Going about it in the right manner will make all that difference.

Cheers
Terry

Note: There are two categories of softwares that people in your field use
Class A: After Effects; Photoshop; Premiere Pro, along with their associated plugins - these will give you the best quality & results (depending on how well you have mastered them)
Class B: Karizma & so many other simple softwares (loads of which you will see in any Photo/Video Exhibitions), the plugins available are all cheapo-type (not classy).
Depending on your client's tastes either of the above will serve it's purpose.

Well for Video Conversion and Editing when I had a project which involved conversion of videos and adding effects - I had used a product from Monarch Vision (now known as Monarch Innovative). They have very good conversion and editing software. They possibly also train you and the products are relatively easy to use. I think you could check that out.
