well everything seemed to be working fine when one fine day my PC got infected with this virus so i had to format my system drive and reinstall XP. .
Well from there on when i have configured my network to bring other PCs on LAN . . they are just not showing in the network. .
1. I can ping the Pcs if i do it with their IP addresses . .
2. I cannot however do so when i mention their computer;s Name.
3.They can access Internet from my PC but my PC doesnt show up on the network
4. I have tried the network wizard like a million times. .and have tried changing my computers name [it seems to have some effect on this issue]
5. My network service is started [ the hand appears below the folder that is shared]
6.whenever i remove my firewall randomly or after some even that i havent notice comes back on over the LAN connection. .
And i have just given up. . dont no wat to do. . didnt find anything interesting when i googled it. .
So pls help me out guys !!:S :S :S
