CPU/Mobo Weird problem>>>Pc not starts!!!

Motherboard led is working!!

But pc starts and immediately stops working... i.e., heatsink fan and chassis fan starts and stops within 2 seconds....

pls help to find which is the faulty pal......

Moniter led is always blinking....

Sys: p4 with intel 915, 1 gb DDR 400 and Seagate sata with a Zebby psu...
 
first try with another PSU (SMPS),else its a faulty motherboard.Also check for any loose connections inside too,post here for more help if needed
 
There could be several reasons because of which this problem can occur.
Suggestions as below
1) Remove all peripherals except RAM, tighten the processor and RAM and see if the problem still persists. If the motherboard has temperature monitoring and if a chip goes above specified defaults, it might shut down the way you are mentioning.
2) Remove RAM also and check if the problem persists.
3) As Sujithbvm mentioned, do check if the PSU fan is on.
