I have an HP Pavilion DV6701AU running Win 7. Of late, sound on my laptop is acting really weird. After reboot sometimes windows does recognize the audio device, sometimes it does not. How is that even possible? when it does, sound doesn't last long and goes off in the middle of the task like watching movies, surfing the web.
I did clean Windows installation and installed the audio drivers but problem still persists. Anybody have any idea why this is happening?
