Weired problem

Hi,

Im having a weired problem with my net.

Here are the details

ISP : Tata 256Kb/s UL
router : Billion 5200s
OS: Vista Home Premium
AV : Nod32
Firewalls : No
Software used : FlashFXP, IDM, cuteFTP.
Now, whenever i try to d'load from an FTP site, my the BW usage goes like this.What might be the problem?

u meant throughput is not consistent ?

on HTTP and bittorrent, it all anice constant flat 33KBps but only on FTP the throughput varies like that.

It looks as if speed liits are in place but actually its not the case.

what method of ftp are u using, try switching to passive connection.
