On July 22 we are going to experience the total solar eclipse in India.
Miss this, and you will never see it again.
This is the most significant one of this century.
The next total solar eclipse that can be viewed from India will occur on June 3, 2114.
The total solar eclipse will last nearly six minutes in India.
The eclipse will begin at 6:23 am in India and will cover Surat, Varanasi, Patna, Bhavnagar, Indore, Bhopal, Jabalpur and Allahabad.
Remaining parts will experience 80-99% eclipse.
Are you ready for the DIAMOND RING?:cool2:

I HOPE that sky remains clear that day... for that one day at least. Wouldn't want to miss this. I hope we get at least bit of diamond ring. :D

Of-course I will.... usually, I'm awake at that time (6:00-6:30). Most of the time 9:10am is the time I go to bed. :P

The solar eclipse on January 15, 2010 is visible from southeastern India

The ones on April 29, 2014, on September 13, 2015 and on December 26, 2019 is visible from Partial South India.

Don't know where did you get the info:S

I was thinking along the same lines. Finally, being in Indore would be worthwhile.

I think for a change Ahmedabad will have clouded sky and it will rain for sure that day.
Varanasi and Allahabad are predicted to be the best places for this.
you can see the rising sun without any obstacles near the river.
you can also take holy bath in the sacred rivers there.
taking holy bath is recommended before and after eclipse according to Hindu culture.
