went to close bank acc. , they sent a DD why >

had a salary account in kotak fr 3 months. then i asked em to close it . they din close for months and i again had to go. got this DD n mail dunno how. i always used to withdraw all salary and had zero balance left. but to get this dd the process is same as cheque right? just write my acc number in backside and drop it in my hdfc dropbox in atm?

most probably that DD is issued for the accrued interest. and yes, process to submit DD is same as that of a cheque.
