I'm having a problem accessing my friend's Western Digital 1TB external HDD. The problem is this:
The drive is showing 423 GB on one partition and out of this about 200 GB is movies and other 79 GB is filled with other miscellaneous files of his. 144 GB is free space. Now, I can see the 79 GB of miscellaneous files on this partition but I cannot see the 200 GB folder named 'Movies'! My friends tells me it's there but I have tried on 2 different systems of mine and cannot see the folder at all. I'm also confused because I know it's there on the HDD partition (judging from the size of the free space left on this partition) but how come the folder is not visible on either of my computers??
Please help! What is happening here?
TIA
