Hello !

We dont really like collermaster EP series PSUs for low efficiency and overpricing. Recently I came across this new thunder series PSUs . The specs seem really good. Price also hits the sweet spot. What do you think guys ? Should I buy it ? Price seems to be between 2900-3300 range

I have a moderate rig planning to buy 7750

^ Thats the reason I hate CM-EP series .... but 85% efficiency 500w at 3k looks really good ..at least on paper.... I thiink I should wait for some real life reviews .. what do you think ?

Dear Spitfire,

Last week only we launched the Thunder series PSUs. This series will gradually replace the EP series of PSUs. For now the Thunder will be available in 450,500 and 600W. The range will increase in future. This is an entire new series and no way connected with the EP - even the OEM is different (better) compared to EP series.

The salient feature of this series is 3 years warranty, Active PFC and high-efficiency design (up to 85%). The prices will be reasonable too. If you need any more information you can PM me.

Cheers!
Sanket
