A friend needs one and he is after my life for the config. He would be using his LCD TV as of now as his monitor. Its not a strict 20K budget but it would be great if he can get stuff within that much. Also add in a "decent" PSU...

Kindly suggest the config...

TIA

P.S. He wont be overclocking and wont be buying in a aftermarket cooler or a high end PSU...

E7300 + MSI P35 NEO-F + 9600GT + 4 GB transcend will come for about 20k or slightly less. A decent PSU like CM 460 will cost another 2.2-2.5k odd.

will be very nice rig. Much more than casual gaming rig.

Get

E7300

Gigabyte GA-G31-E2SL

2x2GB DDRII Transcend Ram (800 MHZ)

Palit HD4670 Super (Has DVI, HDMI, Display Port, D-Sub)

This cost me 15,500/- around 10 days back from Nehru Place

Have it powered by a VX450 bought earlier. Put that in...I guess Rs. 4200 so in 20 K give or take a few 100 you are pretty sorted.

nt goin for performance components or components nt necessary for OCing will be better..which will leave u wid option open for better psu.

since he is nt gonna OC... i would recommend

phenom X3 8650 over E7300

n basic HD4xxx card over a performance cards like HD4670 or 9600GT.

i mean... if basic necessity is TVout then i dnt c necessity for buyin performance components..

save cash n get vx450W

E7300 + G31 mobo + 4GB ram 800mhz (Possibly transcend :S) + 4670 + 500 giga hdd + VX450

4.5k + 2.5k + 2.5k + 5.5k + 3k + 4.5 = 22.5.

I think he cant do it without HDD can he :P. Besides, still he has to get a burner.

Afaik, decent and 20k only go together when you opt to get some used components. :)
