Ok . Intels 45 NM Penryn are out and they are whipping butts. From .13 microns to 45 NM we have come a long way. Now the question is where does the long path end?? Does the future behold 20 nm eight coreed proccy? I am asking too much. Well lets come to the Graphics section. 65 nm (nvidia) and 55 nm (Ati) are pretty much standard today. When they shrink to 20-30 nm can we dream of having quad core GPU. How about QX8800GTX or Q8800GT? or maybe QX108000GT?? It maybe near future guys. has Nostradamus predicted on Computer Peripherals too??:bleh:
Am i thinking too far?? I dont think so because i read an article in TOI where they say it has now become very difficult to shrink the transistor further.
Where do we go now? How do we go now? :|
