Cornflakes + Milk, is it gud to have banana for the breakfast..? If yes, Green or Yellow..?

Yellow :)

..you know i'm not so sure given we have so many varieties here. Westerners get just ONE kind.

If its sweet then it does not matter, you defnitely don't want sour (no yelaki) or too hard.

Try having with chilled milk.

what works for me is i have about 5 eggs and 5 toasts with butter in the morning before i leave for college. i skip lunch and the next meal is dinner.

after such a breakfast you hardly feel the need to eat during the day.

Peanut butter & Jam Sandwiches. Make sure to use whole wheat/ brown bread. Top it off with a fresh coconut.

Dosas are pretty quick if you have the batter ready. Afaik, yo u make em once and store it in the fridge for later use. You can use pickles, quick made chutney, jams, or yesterday's curry to go along with it.

Added to what blr_p said. Skipping lunch is as bad as skipping breakfast considering the next food you have is your dinner. I know few of my friends who did this and are already suffering with problem due not eating at a regular interval. Some find skipping a meal is cool:S and some just avoid it for god knows what reason and few bunch are lazy to eat :|.

@OP, try to have whole grain food for your breakfast, this will make sure that you are energetic till your lunch.

True, i can't imagine skipping any meal luls... OP should start consuming lunch, body gets used to any shit and anything good very fast!

The Risks and Rewards of Skipping Meals - Well Blog - NYTimes.com

Don't skip meals. 3 area a minimum. Eating 2000 calories at two sittings will give you a different body composition than 2000 calories in 3 sittings.

Leads to hunger pangs, unstable Insulin levels. Some studies claim the actual fat stored is increased when the time between meals is increased / irregular. (Because the body doesn't know when it will get its next meal.)

^I don't know the exact medical term but two of my friends already have Ulcer and one of my friend's esophagus is said to be moving into the stomach. Both are due to the irregular eating habit. Latter have been advised to eat meals 5 to 6 times a day with lots of fibers for proper elimination, his case appears to be severe and if the said method doesn't improve his case he'll have to go for surgery.

Most of us are young and our body can take care of anything. But once you start to age you'll all feel the effect and few us lucky/unlucky to feel the effect or you can call it a warning at an early age.

I gave up breakfast because I used to get late for office and I dont wanna trouble ma... Since then my digestive system is taking a rollercoaster ride and now I dont care much... but good suggestions ppl :)

If you are in a real hurry, boil an egg or two the previous night. Peel and eat with salt/pepper the next day morning.

Or make a simple trail mix for a quick on the go breakfast. Make sure there is a bit of everything in it. almonds + wheat flakes + raisins + sunflower/flax seeds + gems (yeah, gems. a bit of chocolate is good :P).

I've just taken to eating a Bagel every morning.

300 calories - 1 bagel on rest days

400 calories - 1 bagel + cream cheese on workout days

They stock Bagels at work, so no time issues for me. Eat breakfast at 9:00 after getting to work.:P

This is what i do before i go to office. Though my office times are shyt :@

About 400ml of milk with added flavor :P

Some light snacks like poha after 2 hours at the office

30 minutes break deserves something heavier

another 15 minutes you can opt to eat something or get some fluids like juice.

After coming back to home, I have food, roti and stuff, sometimes maggi and stuff works too.

Make sure no matter what you do, drink lots of water.

Super great suggestions everyone! Thanks a dozen! :D

And btw, if you referring to me... I don't skip lunch! Have an unlimited thali everyday :P
