This has happened twice now and is very annoying to say the least.
In the beginning itself, i would like to state that i mistakenly created a thread in the wrong section and it fully deserved a treatment.
What wasnt expected was:-
1) Thread be trashed straightaway instead of being moved.
2) No PM be sent when the thread was deleted.
While i agreee point 1 might still be out of its place, point 2 certainly isnt.
I remember the good old days when even deletion of a post was followed by a notification sent via PM. But now a full fledged thread is moved to the bin and no word is communicated to the thread creator.
Ramifications ?
Well i was at the receiving end of BSNL's laziness, but still was confident that my market section's FS thread was posted well in time and will be having some replies whenever i check in. But to my surprise the thread was nowhere to be found and had to wait a decent bit while a mod replied to the pm of mine, asking the details of the fate of the thread.
Personal grievances apart (stated just for the sake of example and bolster my request ofc), i would like to request the Admins/Mods to reactivate the PM notification policy for maintaining a channel of communication and maintaining transparency.
