What happens to a sale post of a product which is sold outside forum ?
Those are deleted or just closed for further replies ?
 
I just found this thread where the phone is sold outside but the thread is not deleted!
Can admin clarifiy please as to what is the rule ?

Even one of my sale thread is deleted for a product sold outside forum when I requested to close it.

And I am ok (rather happy) about it.

Why to keep occupying server space/pictures for a thread which is (now) irrelevant to TE.

I even dont have anything against it but wanted to know the rule!
 
In my opinion in FS section outside sold and even dormant ones(greater than 4months or so, as deemed suitable) should be auto deleted to save resources.
 
Deleting sell threads can also provide opportunity to potential scammers/bad sellers to come back via alternate IDs as it kinds of clear their history here.

I am talking about hints/clues from the past threads which might be able to link a new user/id to some past banned ID. There are many banned users here with positive feedback/rating at least in the beginning for few deals.
