which version of k lite are you using? Also, check with your graphics drivers.

Version of my k-lite is 520 Full and i have installed the latest graphics driver i.e
ATI catalyst 9.9

Have you tried it re-installing? Well my Win 7 used to switch to basic skin whenever I played HD videos. Must be something related to that then. Does yours too switches to basic?

Try this. Before playing the video apply the basic theme and then play it. See if there is any difference.

I tried re-installing also but no result:( and as you are saying that your theme
switch to basic skin whenever you play HD videos, this issue is not with me:)
when i play HD videos there is no switching in themes.
and in basic theme i am still having my problem:@

Why are you using CodecPack, Windows 7 can by default play MPEG and DIVX files, the reason why it is going to Basic theme is bcos one of the filters/codecs is not compatible so with the Aero theme, hence it is going to Basic, remove all codecs and then try to see if you see the same behaviour, avoid codec packs at all cost

ya Windows 7 can by default play MPEG and DIVX files but i am not having that
going to basic theme problem, do you have any idea about my problem, i also tried after removing all codec pack but still getting lag:(

This is a problem with the video codecs of Windows 7. Search around.. you will get a solution. I remember one of my friends telling me that he solved the problem. Maybe we should search for a Windows 7 compatible / ready codec.

There must be some filter setting to be done in k-lite codec pack searh it, i am sure you will get the solution. if you pc can run HD videos with no issue then why can't MPEG files

Thanks you HAPPY SINGH:hap2: it was because of internal filter setting, using MPEG option in internal filter solves my problem :hap2::hap2:

My Plesure:)you got the solution that's the good thing:)

hey thankx..

I too was facing the same problem... I cursed win 7 for the messup and stopped using it....

thankx once again..

Nonsense :P

Just dont install codecs as Win 7 has built in codecs for mpeg, avi, etc..

For rest of the files use TheKMPLayer.

If you WANT to have codecs then install it under comp. mode of Vista sp1 and run as admin. Will solve the codecs issue.

use mega codec(klite) latest version....
To ayascool- i was using the latest pack only and my problem has been solved by doing some filter setting:bleh:

To b00gieMan- Sir i know win7 has built in codecs for mpeg, avi, etc but buffering is much more faster in k-lite codec pack than windows codec:) during this period for solving my lag problem i experienced it:)

I think the Problem is due to the Defragmentation..........
It is better to use Players like GOM,KM.....
