what is power input in speakers

hi,
i'm planning to buy a pair of speakers to use with my psp.since there is a lot of power cuts here in kanpur i want to know how much the speakers would draw as i would be using them on inverter power a lot.
also which would be best vfm speakers in around 500-800 rs range.they should not draw too much power.

i guess u should get those normal Logitech ones , they cost about 400-500 buks.....cheap and effective and would serve ur purpose....I guess all these portable speaker sets draw the same power , dont knw exactly how much and stuff , other ppl would contribute to the same.
