errm, i too wanted to clear out my doubt.

I thought that Dual cores are nothing but 2 logical cores (not physical) ?

And Core2Duo are ones that possess 2 physical cores ?

Please clear this mis-conception out in a factual manner and not comparing useless things

Core2Duo is a brand name.

the lower end proccys have 2 physical cores as well. BUT they are not branded as Core2Duo.
