Laptops what is the problem with my dell xps m1330

laptop when turned on , the power led blinks and nothing happens, what seems to be the problem. mb , gfx, power rail.

out of warranty how much it cost to repair. not used for long time as dell said it would cost 18k for 1yr complete cover for a faulty one

mb replaced during warranty period because of 8400gs fault. that warranty got over too

any help deeply appreciated

Have you tried booting with the Fn key pressed? Looking up the sequence of lights (Caps, Num, Scroll Lock) you get will help you troubleshoot the issue.
 
I think the fault is with the battery .. remove the battery try running it only on AC.
 
You removed the HDD, RAM too .. !! :O

When was it working properly the last time.. Did you experience any related HW issues before this ?
 
something like thsi happened before i removed 1 stick of ram and it was all good. but after somethime problem arised, finally situation is like this
 
i have the same one , btw why did you tell cc your laptop isn't working when it was out of warranty you could have simply asked them extend your warranty and they would have sent you a quote for 9k/yr ... then after a few weeks you could raised a complaint.

anyways all CC calls are fresh so you can try doing this.

happened to me not the same case , but my hdd crashed and disc drive wasn't working so i did this got the warranty renewed then again called up for a replacement and they never re-checked.
