PC Peripherals What is wrong with my PC

Well yesterday my PC got shut down by itself and it is not starting any more.

My motherboard Biostar Tpower I45 has three leds which used to blink but now only one of them(red one) is getting switched on and rest of the computer is not responding. Even the PSU fan is not rotating.

So i think it is a PSU problem, which by the way is a generic PSU.

My config is Biostar Tpower i45,hd 4870, corsair 4gb 1066mhz, core2duo occaisonaly overclocked to 3.5 ghz.

I have already reseated the ram and the card etc but i think the culprit is the psu.
any suggestions pointing out to any other problem will be appreciated
 
Throw the PSU away man. A generic PSU will never ever power a 4870.

Al fingers point towards the PSU!!!
 
Yup that will be the first thing to look at. See if the PSU fan is spinning up etc, and hope it didnt take anything along with it.
 
what those LEDs indicate...is written in the board manual...

but the reason seems obvious anyways...

Did tthis by chance come with cabby?

ANd u overclock to 3.5ghz with a 4870 on it:P. Dude seriously some crap stuff blow up which will void warranty of all other high end parts u have(due to physical damage).
 
Yeah well i was saving money for a high end psu.

However now i got Gigabyte Superb 460w from lynx.Problem solved
