It's been just 4 days since OP 8T launched and now this news

It's been 4 years and this non-sense of launching a model every 6 months does not stop, Just to flood market without actually delivering anything.
8T is facing criticism on the Cameras already, What this?

If a Famous Youtuber is giving you suggestions (Link1, Link2), they stop sending Review units.

Co-founder Carl Pei has left (Exact reason is not known).

Never Settle seems to have settled. Only Garbage reason user is still buying Oneplus is probably because its Costing 25-30% less than competition and Stock android experience with Fastest charging.

What do you think?

They are Chinese Company. End of Discussion !

See this

Real flagships cost 40+ and whatever under that termed as fhsip killer is just a marketing gimmick and waste of money. And eod phone market has gone to grocery levels so don't faint if in future if they release 4 similar confusion phones one after another in a single month..

It's the problem with all BBK sub-brands.
They just keep releasing one phone after another with minor improvements, pay off youtube unboxers to hype it up or show up for the launch event, rinse and repeat.
The midrange phone of one sub-brand becomes the budget phone of another after one year, It makes sense from a business POV tbh, they get maximum mileage out of the same body/components.
Realme is the worst of them all imo, flooding the market every month with the same mediocre crap.

Your single statement does not make sense.
We are talking about the Flagship Smartphone seller with 30% market share in Rs. 30k+ segment.
aH ! let me explain. they are in for short time profile based market system. most of them have same parent company and what they are doing is just trying to force people to buy out new options for some unknown real time benefits which one may or may not use in real like. they are just here to milk out the money and everyone is following the same trade as what parent company want's. First create a brand value. Then let it settle in peoples mind and then just follow your money making scheme. I bet even 6 month is what they thing but as market is not going to accept new phones every month, they are doing it in every 6 month iterations. and now as their is new phone every 6 month, they don't given the customer support to the level they previously use to do. level might be different but its true to the core that the service falls after certain time after the brands find them self in comfort zone of the market.

Dude. Come on. Saving 30% of 70k is not a garbage reason. Different things matter to different people. Some are okay with the short comings but not okay with spending 15k-20k more.

You are right that the OP phones come with some major problems like updates and cameras. But at least it costs 15k less than the comparable flagships. To some people, the cameras are a turn off, for others the lower price is a massive turn on.

As for the hype around them. They have created a massive cult around it like the iPhone has its own cult. But thats the world we live in, we pay massive money and then instead of demanding accountability from the brands, we defend them like fanboys. So yeah the hype is stupid but the phones are fine for the price till their quality control is in order.

TBH stock android is like using winxp with zero updates an thing. As if roaming nude without worrying anyone is watching you..
I will always look at the hardware and dig for a cool custom rom which offers 50% more than stock exp. An be happy eod.

They release 2 phones a year in the same price category. Is that really too much? Nord is a different category.

Samsung releases god knows how many models in a year. S20, S20+, S20 lite, S20E, S20 Ultra, Note 10, Lite, Ultra etc. - and this was just their flagships.

OT, check this power option in OP 8T

Agreed.

I just left the Oneplus Fam. After Oneplus 6 cuz of headphone jack. Moved to Note then to ROG phone 2. At this point no latest Snapdragon chipset phone is is offering headphone jack. Thanks apple for pushing us out of options and thanks Oneplus to cut down headphone jack. Even after loosing the poll wheather to keep the jack or toss it off.

The days aren't faraway when phones wont even have charging ports and they will come with 1yr battery life and after that throw the phone and buy new. And then they will release new phones every 5 days which wont make us feel the pain of battery life as eveyrone will shift phones every few weeks... The second hand market will collapse as phones will be judged solely on battery juice.
