This is an excerpt from Times Ascent,TOI Pune. This section is called as SUCCESS SUTRAS by Dr. Debhashis Chatterjee

Have been reading this section since a long time. It is always refreshing and thought of sharing it with fellow TE members
In life, there's nothing called as "What's next?" Reality is an indivisible and integral presence in "the here and the now". The rise and the fall of business cycles, plans of succession and quarterly targets are jsut attempts to fragment one whole flow into conceptual bits and bytes.

In order to understand this flow, managers have to ask 'what now' and not what's next. The richness of life is in the moment.

The moment has an information density of a billion bits and bytes of data.

Someone at this very moment is dying in Eithiopia, someone is falling in love in China, in Egypt the pyramids are losing their shine and in India a new customer is being born.

True happiness lies in the very depth of this moment. This moment is always preserved in our awareness. How do we arrive at this moment? Imagine you have been thinking of getting a promotion for years. After a long wait, the promotion list has finally arrived one day. "You have been promoted!"" Just recall that moment of utter joy. At this moment , all other thoughts that take you away from the flickering, joyful moment have vanished. The less the thoughts that take you away from the moment, the happier you are. The moment is always there in the depths of your awareness. It just awaits your discovery; it simply wants to be born throught you!!

What do you all think???
