I daily a MacBook. the OS has its (many) flaws but not a dealbreaker because of the seamless integration with all my apple devices (phone, watch ,iPad, Mac).
I daily drove arch with gnome on my desktop during lockdown and only booted win/Mac for os specific tasks, it was fine too for the most part.
