Guys I bough LBP GOTY Edition Disc from Ritvik.Yesterday I received the package and when i opened it Disc cover was all broken.I called courier guy and he said it's not his fault and go to Head Office and talk their.I PM'd Ritvik about it and told him that i received game in this condition and I PM'd him pics also of the same.

So I gave him 2 options -

1. I return him the game and he refund me the full amount including courier charges which i'll be paying.

2.He refund me Rs.200 so that I can buy new case for the game.(locally)

To which he replied that he's not responsible for any damage done by the courier guys.

Now you suggest guys who's at fault here and what should WE do?

And ya I don't want anyone to say anybody wrong here please I just need a solution to my problem nothing else.Ritvik is a great guy and I'm sure he'll co-operate.I started this thread to know your views and suggestions.

^ where will i keep disc? As you can see that bottom right corner of box is broken because of which case is not closing.For some case is not important but for me it's very important because im gonna collect PS3 exclusives.
 
^Wow such a fuss for the case? Dude get serious! Keep the disc in the PS3 and start playing it while you order a case from intencity. Costs about 100-150 bucks IIRC from the IVG forums' deal thread. How is Ritvik at fault if he has shipped it right and the courier has messed it up. Claim the charges from the courier service instead.
 
I have already started playing the game and have ordered the case.I just started this thread to know what can be done.

@Gannu- I guess you are right.No point of dragging this for such a little thing.BTW game is awesome :ohyeah:
 
Wow ! You are whining for a cd case ? Just yesterday my complete package of earphone worth 1200 bucks has gone missing .The TrackOn courier package was delivered empty even though it was double sealed with signature in all 4 corners. (consignee refused it and sent it back after opening in front of delivery boy) .

Trying my level best to lodge a complaint and recover the item or a refund but I doubt its gonna work out :(
 
OP: If the packaging was done adequately, then the sender cannot be held responsible. Even the courier guy's would not take responsibility. The best you can do is to give them an earful and be done. I have myself had boxes damaged on a couple of occasions, once due to the courier guy's and another time due to the sender. The sender apparently delegated the task of packing and couriering to some one else with appropriate instructions and the guy got rid of the task by putting the jewel case in a lousy A4 envelope and sending it over without any sort of packing.

IMO, serves you right for using such a shitty courier as Track On :P. I hope you are aware that they have the worst possible reputation in India among courier services and they loose packages with an amazing consistency. Its not just the packages and contents that disappear either, their offices and contact numbers have a reputation for vanishing into thin air. 1200/- is money well spent for the lesson learnt.

I ship all my parcels through Aramex , as I know the guy personally and have shipped more than 40-50 packages in last 5-6 months via his franchise. All metro parcels are delivered next day and even 30-40k mobiles are delivered without any issues .This time also I approached him but he said there was no Aramex service for the particular pin code and only TrackOn was available

I had no clue about Track On and since I trusted this guy I gave him the green signal . Its only now after some google search yesterday, I come to know that the whole company is a big fraud :(
