What to bring from US (yet another thread!)

A friend is coming from US next week. What are some items which would be cheaper there and costly here in India (perfumes, SD cards, etc). Specially if they can be ordered online.
 
There is a deal on Transcend SD Card (no MicroSD) going on right now at amazon.com. It it supposed to be for today only (USA Time - no idea if PST or EST). But if it is EST, you better buy in next 20 minutes.

Other option is Nexus 4 but i am pretty sure that your friend wont get it even if it is already ordered. It is OOS on play store and many people have got delivery dates 3 weeks far.
 
can anyone confirm me please, if we do bring smartphones like iphone, Sony and latest phones, will they carry warranty in India if they had the original invoice?

Nexus 4?

Most electronics are cheaper. Problem would be the bulk - carrying them. Perfumes definitely.
For electronics - It would be better to give him definite hyper-links so that there is no misunderstanding on your needs.

Remember in perfumes go for the larger bottles (200ml) - just as in HDDs the incremental cost is quite low; so for ~30-40% extra you would get double the volume.
 
4.2 oz(125 ml) or 3.4oz(100 ml) bottle would do. It is always better to have a variety of bottles than a few huge(anything above 125 ml) bottles.
Get those which you really like and have a good price difference when compared to the price here.
For example, Terre D'hermes. Flipkart sells them for an astonishing 7k, while this is a really nice price.

Not on Google play but B&M stores may have their in-store discounts that you could apply towads the purchase. Either ways, Nexus 7 is out of stock pretty much everywhere and I highly doubt you are gonna find a 3G model in that. But, Radioshack might be a good place if someone could get hold of one. They have $10 off every $50 you spend. So you could save close to $60 on a Nexus 7 3G tablet - if they have it in stock!
