what to get from malaysia?

Dad will be going malaysia for few days was thinking of getting few things...are electronic gadgets cheaper there?

was thinking of getting....
1. Digital Point and shoot camera= hopefully cannon ixus 85is
2. Ipod Nano 8gb Chromatic
3. Mac Book Pro

and is there any cheap electronic market there which he should be seeing?

There's this mall there known as Low Yat Plaza

Its like 5-6 floors of pure computer peripherals, core components and electronics!!!hyeah: its like a dreamland! i got most of my stuff from there when i had gone there a few months ago!

mmm............ Satay Chicken!! Yummy is not the word.

Low Yat plaza or Sungei Wang plaza. For high end stuff, try Berjaya Times Square. There is also one more mall, I forget the name. It has a Jaguar showroom. All high end stuff only. Not much of gadgets and stuff.

Prices are not great TBH. You are better off buying in India.

:S but i ve heard its the other way round !.. i got an Inspiron 1525 for 30k and the same config in Singapore was for around 35.8k..

Malaysia = unlimited possibility to get tech sruff. My friend goes there every year to buy stuff to upgrade his PC.
